Flowers for me!!!!!!
Well, I wish I had a camera that would actually upload to my computer, which by the way is dead. I took the kids to the pool at the rec by our house last night for 1 hour which felt like alot longer but they had a blast. See I need a CAMERA! Then today William sent me flowers for Mother's Day. It made my day. Especially since i have no adult contact except at work and thats just work stuff, no relaxing or kicking back. S'te HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just trying to get through the day. Home is good but I feel just overwhelmed by kids stuff. End of the year stuff, pictures, yearbooks and high school orientation and football and cheer for the fall. Not that all that is bad don't get me wrong. But it all seems to come so fast. Even though that stuff doesn't start until July 24th, it still seems like its coming quickly. But I am ready for S'te to go to have the baby. I am waiting for the call. YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well thats all I got today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy, Busy...............
Well as we headline into week 4, the kids and I are extremely busy. The boys have football camp for 2 weeks and that has been late evenings. Bailey has soccer too but a friend of mine and her husbnad have been taking her to her games for me which have been a big help since I have to be where the boys are to coach. I have talked to William several times and that has been nice. Not much else is happening for us. I did go and buy new bunk beds for the girls because the beds they have just are not good in the room they have. I have not had any time to myself but thats ok. I have things around the house pretty set except my room as usual. I will work on that after may 19th when football and soccer are over. Thats all I got for now.......bye

Week 1 gone bye bye!!!!!!!!!!!
We survived!!!!!!!!!!!!! just kidding. We are all doing well. I found out on Friday that I am officially a diabetic and I now have to take Glucophage once a day and check my blood sugar once a week. My levels are not extremely bad so I am on the lowest dose. The kids and I had our usual week, practices, games etc. The boys won their game and Bailey had 1 win and 1 loss. Friday night we went to a christian concert given by The Rock Church. It was awesome. The Lord made his presence known and then on Sunday we went to their church service.
It was funny because I think most people went because Ladanian Tomlinson from the Chargers was going to be there. However when he gave his testimony and then left off stage, people stayed. They listened attentively at the message and at the end when the offer of salvation came, tons of people went down. This was not about membership but about Salvation. It was amazing. The funny part is that Keanu thinks that it was revelation for his life. LT said that when he was about 11yo he was playing pop warner football and a bee got in his helmet and stung him and he was out of the game for the rest of the game. Well ironically on thursday Keanu had a bee get stuck in his shoe at practice and it stung him 3 times. He told me see mom, I will be in the NFL. I thought that was hilarious. We were supposed to over Rod and S'te's but by the time I got home and sat down, that was all she wrote. Anyhow, the kids are back at school and the little girls are in intersession and have 6 to 6 program. So we are on our last little trail to summer break. That's it for now.

God's Peace
HI GUYS! I HAVE PEACE. COMPLETE PEACE IN GOD. BEFORE WILLIAM LEFT I STARTED READING A BOOK CALLED, "THE TUB IS OVERFLOWING BUT I FEEL DRAINED". NOT THAT I FELT THAT WAY 100% BUT IT HAS QUESTIONS AND SCRIPTURE TO HELP YOU IN A TIME OF NEED. WELL I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT I CANNOT PLEASE MY NEIGHBORS, CO-WORKERS AND FAMILY ALL THE TIME. I CANNOT LET THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD BOTHER ME. I FEEL GREAT AND MY KIDS ARE GREAT. LIFE IS GOOD. I FOUND OUT YESTERDAY THAT I AM NOW A DIABETIC. I WILL HAVE TO TAKE MEDS FOR A WHILE BUT WITH PROPER DIET AND EXERCISE I CAN PROBABLY GET OFF WITH IN A YEAR. THE KIDS AND I ARE GOING TO A CHRISTAIN CONCERT AT SDSU TONIGHT. I HAVE NOT TOLD THEM ALL OF WHAT WE ARE DOING, I JUST TOLD THEM TO BE READY. I TALKED TO WILLIAM THIS MORNING AND HE SOUNDS GOOD. HE SAYS HE'S "BULKING UP". I AM GLAD HE HAS FOUND SOMETHING TO KEEP HIM BUSY ON BOARD SHIP. I ALSO GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE CHAPLAINS WIFE ABOUT THE FAMILY GROUP. ALTHOUGH I CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE MEETINGS I DID OFFER MY HELP. THEY SEEM TO BE ROCKIN' AND ROLLIN' ON THE PLANS FOR THE HALFWAY AND HOMECOMING. HOPEFULLY I WILL GET A NEW CAMERA SOON SO I CAN PHOTOGRAPH THIS SHORESIDE WES PAC THAT ME AND THE KIDS ARE ON. WELL GOTTA GO...................

My Sad Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it's day 1! William left yesterday. I cried a little but when we got on the boat and waited around. Then it was time for the visitors to get off the boat. We went down and he stayed for a little bit longer. Then He had to go back. I was ok and then they started the engine and the whistle blew. They began to sail away. I cried my little heart out. I couldn't even stay until they went under the bridge. Afterwards Granpa James took us to breakfast and he needed to do some shopping. Once we got home I had a horrible headache and laid down for a nap. When I go up the boys and Gpa James had cleaned out and washed my car. That made me happy. I sepnt my first night on the couch. I just coul not bring myself to get in that bed, not yet anyway. Well that's all for now.

How I spent my Weekend!
Well it started well. We had dinner party to attend on Saturday evening. I had to meet with Sis Jana to get the vases for the flowers centerpieces for the dinner. It was Pastor Brown's going away dinner and we did the flowers for the tables. Mackenzie had started feeling bad on Thursday with a sore "throat/neck". She had a mild fever so I took her to the Dr. on Friday. They looked at her throat and her tonsils were fine but her lymphnodes were swollen. She had lots of congestion. The NP thought maybe the sore throat was from the sinus drainage. She gave her some Zyrtec and some Rhinocort AQ. I didn't think much of it because I have a bad sinus problem and I get the sore throat from time to time because of drainage. Back to Friday evening, I met Jana at Mission Valley mall at Michaels. We looked for vases but they were too expensive. She went back to the wholesaler where we got the flowers and got the vases for 3.00 less. ANyhow, I took the girls home, the boys were at a sleepover. We ate and hung out, Mackenzie started heating up again and just not feeling well. Saturday morning, Jana came over and we put together 30 arrangements. Mackenzie continued a fever, I gave meds and watched her. We got dressed at 2pm and headed to the dinner so we could get the flowers there by 3pm. Mackenzie continued to go down hill. I gave her more motrin around 550pm and she fell asleep. Well she slept until about 645 and woke up having a febrile seizure. We ripped her pantyhose off and cooled her down. William was still on the boat out to sea, I thought. Anyhow, one of the church members helped me get her in the car and off to Balboa I went. William calls me on my cell from his and i think Oh Ok they are close enough to get reception, but it ended up being that he was back 2 days early. Thank you God!! Well they did blood and Iv's and stuck her twice. William and I both had to hold her down the second time. Well she ended up having Viral Meningitis. So here we are Day 4 and she still has a fever and is not really taking any fluids, I never realized that and 8yo can be so stubborn. I have missed worked 2 days this week and at this point it looks like I will miss the rest of the week. She went back to sleep this morning so I decided to take a shower. I broke down, all I could do is cry and talk to God. I got out and called S'te who I cherish. She always knows what to say that is not S'te but of God. I love her, my dear sister. Anyhow, So here I sit at this computer, holding on to the promise of God, but then the flesh kicks in and I am scared to death. I am certainly not defeated, I am victorious in God. The mommy in me worries though.. blah blah blah. I know I sound like a big complainer but oh well.

William will be home in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know shoot me. I haven't updated in a while. Not much has been going on. Football is up and kicking and basketball will be to, very soon. So I will probably be gray by the time CHristmas comes around again. Nah! Just kidding. I don't think I would know what to do with myself if I had absolutely nothing to do. As the deployment for William approaches, so many thoughts and feelings arise. I feel anxious and scared, tearful and sad, freaked and then irritated with the fact that he has to go. Crazy huh? Me and the kids will survive, we always do but, IT STINKS. The kids are starting to show some signs of dad leaving. A few behavior quirks that are new and some teary eyes just because. Then there is work for me and school for them. All stressful at times but we manage. I know that William has his own stuff to think about but I just need a giant HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway told ya. not much here so back at ya..................

2 months to go before deployment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where do I start? Well lets start with my neighbors. They (both sides this time) are complaining about my dogs. We bought a dog run so that the fence aggression, that my dog supposedly starts, would stop and also we did not want to coop our dogs up in the house all day. Especially sine their dogs get to be outside all day long. So now they bark during the day, which, well, isn't that what dogs do. They do not bark constantly, and I know they don't because they won't even start barking until people come by our back fence or we re in the house and they want to come in.................So we brought them in and put king in the boys room and asia in the garage. Well she went pee at the end of the garage and so then they smelled pee, we cleaned it up so its not like it went days and days, anyhow, they called animal control. William happened to be home and so we got that all squared away. But I just wish that they would just admit that the reason they are complaining is that I have pit bulls. It's so frustrating............................. Then the navy has some serious issues. We had to deal with security clearance issues again.........................Then when I least expect it, Adrenna gets in major trouble at school. I never would have thought it would be her. I will not divulge her private stuff but I was very dissapointed. Then the transition at church. Thats hard enough without all the people and their opinions.............the only truth we need is Gods truth but they just do not get it. They are keeping up all this commotion and starting all kinds of problems.......................God, all I want is for my family to be happy, I know that we will have trials and I understand that. I want to have the strength that the Holy spirit offers and I need to be strong in my faith for you and your Word, Lord. I want peace in my life. I want to just stand and let you work. I Love You Lord..Thank you for who you are...............

1 Month Down!!!!!!!!!!
As we finish the first month of the new year it brings great joy and sorrow. The great joy is that my family has made it through another year. The great sorrow comes in a couple of different ways. Our Pastor of 12 years is leaving our church. It was a shock and although we will never really know why, we do wish him the best. Also, William's aunt will died in Louisiana. She helped raise him and he took it as always with great strength. He was able to go down there and see alot of his family that he hasn't seen in some 20 years or more. He had a great time despite the reason he went. As for church, being a leader I feel like I have to give our incoming Pastor a chance. It's not going to be easy but I will try. Keanu has been suffering from chest pain and shortness of breath so I took him to the ER, well that was a horrible mess. They say its heartburn, So obviously he is going for more testing. We have a 3 month break from football and it's that time again. This time I am coaching instead of my husband. I am scared to death. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! But it will be fun. William is getting ready for deployment. We are not at all excited about that all. Well thats all for today.

Happy New Year!!!!!!
Happy New Year to all of our friends and family!!!!!!!!!! William and S'te keep telling me I need to update but I just have not had the time. As I sit here 1 week into the new year, I realize that I am very blessed. Not that I didn't already know that but I am, we are. Some people did not make it to see 2007. It's pretty quiet around here right now. Bailey got in trouble so I haven't seen her in about an hour and William has duty and everyone else is in their rooms. This first week of the year has been very interesting. Our pastor of 12 years personally and for the church 17 years, announced to all the church leadership that he will be leaving to go to North Carolina in March. No warning, no notice. It's not like the heads of the church are sending him, he is the head of the church. He says that he cannot question God and that God has called him to do this. Well if God called him then so be it but I am really tired of hearing other peolple say they understand how some of feel and asking things like why are you angry or hurt? I have every right to be hurt. For me it's like losing a father again. Pastor Brown is my spiritual father. I know it shouldn't bother me what people say but do they have to act so well................duh? After 12 years in a ministry you may be a little ticked when your pastor walks away. Good that off my shoulders.
William has been home for a couple of weeeks and the time seems to fly by. He will soon be going out to sea again. I will be glad when this deployment comes and goes............It is taking way to long yet oh so fast to get here, if that makes any sense. We spent New Years with Rod and S'te. Their church had a preachathon. It was wonderful. I got so much out if it. I hope that this year will be filled with alot of family moments with them. Well I have to get the pictures off of S'te's flickr. We put them there by accident. Well I hope I did not bore you to much................

Holidays???????????????
As the Holidays quickly approach, I find myself, Ms. Always Prepared!!!!!!!!! Only having bought 1 gift and no tree up or decorations put up. The kids and I have been so consumed with a gazillion activities with the church that we haven't had time. Then all of a sudden sickness fell into our home. The boys had fevers for 5 days and Dr Upton sad that Dj had the flu but then Keanu has had a fever for 7 days and now complains of chestp aina dn shortness of breath so I took him to the Dr and Dr Upton did an ekg he said it looked "fairly" normal but Keanu may have Marfans Diesease. He has to go for a different Cardiac Test. We are definitely praying for a clean bill of health. He has missed 4 days of school not including the weekend days and I am just very very very tired. Asia, my blue pitbull had 11 puppies on December 10th. 1 died. These puppies unlike the other ones have giant heads...................and these are blue and white instead of black and white like the last. They are really big puppies this time. It's alot of work but the kids love it. William will be home in 1 week. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week we also had a sad but beutiful memorial service to attend. Angie, my niece. She was 4 years old when she went home to be with God. She now gets to look down on us as an Angel. If you want to see pictures go to www.elmoresandiego.blogspot.com. We have had alot going on. I was supposed to put pictures on here but I have not gone to Walmart and got them on cd yet......Hopefully soon..............

Day 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well we have been very busy this week. I have managed to lose my phone between my driveway and my front door. I must be going crazy.............Monday I took the kids to ACTION and chatted with S'te for a minute before I had to run back to work. I gave her my house key because she did not want to drive all the way home and all the way back. I got a call from my mother in law on the way home so I knew I had my phone and walla!!!!!!!!!!! Missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I called Cingular and got another one and it took a couple of days. Then on Tuesday night the kids had presentation at Canyon View Christian Fellowship with a 6pm call time and Dj's football banquet was at 6pm on the other side of town. I managed to get everyone everywhere. At the banquet all the coaches received a beautiful NFL sized ball signed by all there guys and mounted in an acrylic box. I accepted for William since he is gone. I found out that most of te boys will be returning in the spring......Yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight we had the first Violin recital and Choral concert at Sequoia. It was great. Bailey had a solo and was apart of an ensemble!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took some pictures and will have them on Flickr in a couple of days. Then Thursday I have Women's group and Friday a presentation in Lamesa. Saturday, rehearsal for the Christmas play, a 2pm call time and 3 pm presentation. Fun right? Yah it is and then I come home and look at my house and go AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of my plate right now is mainly church functions, as ususal things are hectic and I am concerned about people's feelings getting hurt because there ministry did not get to present. I felt as though our Angel Tree program should be geared to non believers and I feel that the choice of Play and ACTION Ministry were the best suitable options because they impact and change lives for Christ. Everyone says Jesus is the reason for the season and that may be true. However I think that we are the reason for the season. If Christ had not been born and died for our sins then there would be no Christmas right? I heard it said that way and I truly believe that this is very true. This season is about family and friends. Holding on to that which is dear. I think we hold on to the things of this world so much harder than Christ himself. Some aren't even holding on to him. It is my desire that He would use this one night of Angel Tree to impact many lives and give them a heart for him. I am believing this and I know others who are praying and agreeing with me. Anyhow, we miss you William. We love you............ Chat later

Parent Teacher Conferences, Friend or Foe?
I hate this time of year where the schools are concerned. Who gives out report cards right before Christmas? Well Mackenzie and Bailey both had conferences. One went great and the other well...........Mackenzie got all A's wohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bailey on the other hand got grades well below what she is capable of. She has become such a social butterfly. The drama follows her. SHe was missing 4 out of 9 reading logs and 6 homework assignments. I couldn't understand how because she knows that I would find out. I check there work, ALL 5 Kids, even my middle schoolers. However I can't track down a fib on homework. Don't get me wrong she's not failing or anything. I just can't believe that she would let her social life affect her scholastic life like this. So since she wants to be so social at school then she loses her social life at home. I also asked the teacher why she did not advise me sooner. She tried to sugar coat the conference but I was not even trying to hear the common chit chater from her. Bailey is so smart and bright and has a great personality but I told her that her one job is school and that she needs to treat it as such and do the best she can. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All is well today. everyone actually had a great day. Minor arguing between kids but other than that it was cool..............Chat tomorrow.

Happy Thankgsgiving!!!!!!!!!
Well I hope all of our friend and family had a great turkey day. We did. We spent it with our favorite family, The Elmore's!!!! We got over there about 9am on Thursday and I got to cooking. S'te sat and watched(smile) then finally she made her green bean casserole. I love to cook so it made not a bit of difference. William on the other hand was just waiting for the football game to come on. We all ate and the kids played until they were just plum tuckered out. We stayed pretty late and then we had to go home because I had to work for 4 hours on Friday and then we went back and stayed late again. It was great. Well anyway, as the weekend winded down we had church and Christmas play rehearsals and house cleaning to do. Monday came all to quick, especially with the fact that Wiliam will be gone until around Dec 22. Sucks huh? I have to get all ready for Christmas alone. It really seems not alot like Christmas anymore. I tried to hype myself for the Holiday stuff until I found out that he would be gone so long and it just hanged it for me. I suppose that I shouldn't look at it that way but I am human and it sucks. Mackenzie is having some seperation anxiety. From headaches to "my tummy hurts", to cough, cough, she has a problem everytime he gets ready to leave. He had duty today so for us his underway started today instead of tomorrow. Although the month will go by fast because we are so busy, I still miss him here. We have a football banquet on Dec 5th that I just got called about, a parade that the football team is in, rehearsals at the church, training of rchildren's ministry, several Action presentations, bible study, christmas shopping and a partridge in a pear tree. It seems like it never gets quiet for the kids. I just drive. I did however make an neurology follow up for myself on Dec 5th in the am. I have some questions about my hemiplegic migraines. As you can see I really have to rely on God for strength to get through it all. I Will tell you about parent teacher conferences tomorrow.......Goodnight

Wanna Baby Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi guys,
I know it's been a while. Just been really busy lately. The kids are on break for Thanksgiving for an entire week. What's up with that? I didn't get a week off. Anyhow William and I have discussed for quite some time about a tubal reversal and having more kids. It used to be ahere at Naval Hospital you had to be less than 33 years old. Well they changed that and you can be up to 40 years old. So I got a referral and spoke with the docotr today and he told me all the ins and outs of the surgery. He said they can do it in about 6-8 months. Which will be good because William won't be back from sea until the first part of November, I think. It's a little scary though. We have had so much freedom over the last few years and it will all go away.
I am also tossing around the school option. I really want to go back to school. I want to run my own restaurant one day and do some large family consulting in the Christian world. However, I do need to have some business classes behind. Not much I can do with a Biology degree and a restaurant. I am praying and asking GOD for the aswer. I know he will answer in due time. But as far as babies, that decision we have made. WIlliam has to get a few tests and then they can schedule the surgery. Get ready S'te, I need a refresher course...................We will be spending Thanksgiving with our favorite family. Rod and S'te. Cook some food, watch some football. Tha's about all for now...........Happy Thanksgiving everybody

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNOW I AM A DAY LATE! SHOOT ME! ANYHOW, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME LAST NIGHT. ACTION PRESENTED AT SERRA MESA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP. THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB. S'TE WAS THERE AND WE GOT A CHANCE TO HANG A LITTLE. I SAY A LITTLE BECAUSE IT WAS A COUPLE OF HOURS AND USUALLY IT'S ALL DAY WHEN WE DO GET TOGETHER. THE KIDS GOT ALOT OF CANDY AND WENT TRICK OR TRACTING WITH THE OLDER TEAM. THE ONLY MISSING PART WAS ADRENNA. I REALLY MISS HER. I ALSO GOT A CALL FROM KEANU'S COACH THAT THEY WILL BE HAVING A RIVAL REMATCH SATURDAY AGAINST CLAIRMONT. THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING. ONE OF THE PARENTS WAS REALLY RUDE AND JUST VULGAR. HOPEFULLY THIS TIME HE IS RESTRAINED A BIT.
WILLIAM WENT OUT TO SEA AGAIN! I HAVE A FEW PROJECTS PLANNED WHILE HE IS GONE, HOPEFULLY I CAN GET THEM DONE. WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH HAPPENING RIGHT NOW SO THERE ISN'T MUCH TO WRITE ABOUT. I WILL UPDATE TOMORROW AFTER MY WOMENS BIBLE STUDY............
