Holidays???????????????

As the Holidays quickly approach, I find myself, Ms. Always Prepared!!!!!!!!! Only having bought 1 gift and no tree up or decorations put up. The kids and I have been so consumed with a gazillion activities with the church that we haven't had time. Then all of a sudden sickness fell into our home. The boys had fevers for 5 days and Dr Upton sad that Dj had the flu but then Keanu has had a fever for 7 days and now complains of chestp aina dn shortness of breath so I took him to the Dr and Dr Upton did an ekg he said it looked "fairly" normal but Keanu may have Marfans Diesease. He has to go for a different Cardiac Test. We are definitely praying for a clean bill of health. He has missed 4 days of school not including the weekend days and I am just very very very tired. Asia, my blue pitbull had 11 puppies on December 10th. 1 died. These puppies unlike the other ones have giant heads...................and these are blue and white instead of black and white like the last. They are really big puppies this time. It's alot of work but the kids love it. William will be home in 1 week. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week we also had a sad but beutiful memorial service to attend. Angie, my niece. She was 4 years old when she went home to be with God. She now gets to look down on us as an Angel. If you want to see pictures go to www.elmoresandiego.blogspot.com. We have had alot going on. I was supposed to put pictures on here but I have not gone to Walmart and got them on cd yet......Hopefully soon..............

Day 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we have been very busy this week. I have managed to lose my phone between my driveway and my front door. I must be going crazy.............Monday I took the kids to ACTION and chatted with S'te for a minute before I had to run back to work. I gave her my house key because she did not want to drive all the way home and all the way back. I got a call from my mother in law on the way home so I knew I had my phone and walla!!!!!!!!!!! Missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I called Cingular and got another one and it took a couple of days. Then on Tuesday night the kids had presentation at Canyon View Christian Fellowship with a 6pm call time and Dj's football banquet was at 6pm on the other side of town. I managed to get everyone everywhere. At the banquet all the coaches received a beautiful NFL sized ball signed by all there guys and mounted in an acrylic box. I accepted for William since he is gone. I found out that most of te boys will be returning in the spring......Yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight we had the first Violin recital and Choral concert at Sequoia. It was great. Bailey had a solo and was apart of an ensemble!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took some pictures and will have them on Flickr in a couple of days. Then Thursday I have Women's group and Friday a presentation in Lamesa. Saturday, rehearsal for the Christmas play, a 2pm call time and 3 pm presentation. Fun right? Yah it is and then I come home and look at my house and go AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of my plate right now is mainly church functions, as ususal things are hectic and I am concerned about people's feelings getting hurt because there ministry did not get to present. I felt as though our Angel Tree program should be geared to non believers and I feel that the choice of Play and ACTION Ministry were the best suitable options because they impact and change lives for Christ. Everyone says Jesus is the reason for the season and that may be true. However I think that we are the reason for the season. If Christ had not been born and died for our sins then there would be no Christmas right? I heard it said that way and I truly believe that this is very true. This season is about family and friends. Holding on to that which is dear. I think we hold on to the things of this world so much harder than Christ himself. Some aren't even holding on to him. It is my desire that He would use this one night of Angel Tree to impact many lives and give them a heart for him. I am believing this and I know others who are praying and agreeing with me. Anyhow, we miss you William. We love you............ Chat later

Parent Teacher Conferences, Friend or Foe?

I hate this time of year where the schools are concerned. Who gives out report cards right before Christmas? Well Mackenzie and Bailey both had conferences. One went great and the other well...........Mackenzie got all A's wohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bailey on the other hand got grades well below what she is capable of. She has become such a social butterfly. The drama follows her. SHe was missing 4 out of 9 reading logs and 6 homework assignments. I couldn't understand how because she knows that I would find out. I check there work, ALL 5 Kids, even my middle schoolers. However I can't track down a fib on homework. Don't get me wrong she's not failing or anything. I just can't believe that she would let her social life affect her scholastic life like this. So since she wants to be so social at school then she loses her social life at home. I also asked the teacher why she did not advise me sooner. She tried to sugar coat the conference but I was not even trying to hear the common chit chater from her. Bailey is so smart and bright and has a great personality but I told her that her one job is school and that she needs to treat it as such and do the best she can. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All is well today. everyone actually had a great day. Minor arguing between kids but other than that it was cool..............Chat tomorrow.

Happy Thankgsgiving!!!!!!!!!

Well I hope all of our friend and family had a great turkey day. We did. We spent it with our favorite family, The Elmore's!!!! We got over there about 9am on Thursday and I got to cooking. S'te sat and watched(smile) then finally she made her green bean casserole. I love to cook so it made not a bit of difference. William on the other hand was just waiting for the football game to come on. We all ate and the kids played until they were just plum tuckered out. We stayed pretty late and then we had to go home because I had to work for 4 hours on Friday and then we went back and stayed late again. It was great. Well anyway, as the weekend winded down we had church and Christmas play rehearsals and house cleaning to do. Monday came all to quick, especially with the fact that Wiliam will be gone until around Dec 22. Sucks huh? I have to get all ready for Christmas alone. It really seems not alot like Christmas anymore. I tried to hype myself for the Holiday stuff until I found out that he would be gone so long and it just hanged it for me. I suppose that I shouldn't look at it that way but I am human and it sucks. Mackenzie is having some seperation anxiety. From headaches to "my tummy hurts", to cough, cough, she has a problem everytime he gets ready to leave. He had duty today so for us his underway started today instead of tomorrow. Although the month will go by fast because we are so busy, I still miss him here. We have a football banquet on Dec 5th that I just got called about, a parade that the football team is in, rehearsals at the church, training of rchildren's ministry, several Action presentations, bible study, christmas shopping and a partridge in a pear tree. It seems like it never gets quiet for the kids. I just drive. I did however make an neurology follow up for myself on Dec 5th in the am. I have some questions about my hemiplegic migraines. As you can see I really have to rely on God for strength to get through it all. I Will tell you about parent teacher conferences tomorrow.......Goodnight

Wanna Baby Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys,

I know it's been a while. Just been really busy lately. The kids are on break for Thanksgiving for an entire week. What's up with that? I didn't get a week off. Anyhow William and I have discussed for quite some time about a tubal reversal and having more kids. It used to be ahere at Naval Hospital you had to be less than 33 years old. Well they changed that and you can be up to 40 years old. So I got a referral and spoke with the docotr today and he told me all the ins and outs of the surgery. He said they can do it in about 6-8 months. Which will be good because William won't be back from sea until the first part of November, I think. It's a little scary though. We have had so much freedom over the last few years and it will all go away.

I am also tossing around the school option. I really want to go back to school. I want to run my own restaurant one day and do some large family consulting in the Christian world. However, I do need to have some business classes behind. Not much I can do with a Biology degree and a restaurant. I am praying and asking GOD for the aswer. I know he will answer in due time. But as far as babies, that decision we have made. WIlliam has to get a few tests and then they can schedule the surgery. Get ready S'te, I need a refresher course...................We will be spending Thanksgiving with our favorite family. Rod and S'te. Cook some food, watch some football. Tha's about all for now...........Happy Thanksgiving everybody

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW I AM A DAY LATE! SHOOT ME! ANYHOW, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME LAST NIGHT. ACTION PRESENTED AT SERRA MESA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP. THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB. S'TE WAS THERE AND WE GOT A CHANCE TO HANG A LITTLE. I SAY A LITTLE BECAUSE IT WAS A COUPLE OF HOURS AND USUALLY IT'S ALL DAY WHEN WE DO GET TOGETHER. THE KIDS GOT ALOT OF CANDY AND WENT TRICK OR TRACTING WITH THE OLDER TEAM. THE ONLY MISSING PART WAS ADRENNA. I REALLY MISS HER. I ALSO GOT A CALL FROM KEANU'S COACH THAT THEY WILL BE HAVING A RIVAL REMATCH SATURDAY AGAINST CLAIRMONT. THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING. ONE OF THE PARENTS WAS REALLY RUDE AND JUST VULGAR. HOPEFULLY THIS TIME HE IS RESTRAINED A BIT.

WILLIAM WENT OUT TO SEA AGAIN! I HAVE A FEW PROJECTS PLANNED WHILE HE IS GONE, HOPEFULLY I CAN GET THEM DONE. WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH HAPPENING RIGHT NOW SO THERE ISN'T MUCH TO WRITE ABOUT. I WILL UPDATE TOMORROW AFTER MY WOMENS BIBLE STUDY............

6th Grade Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's been a while since I last updated. Today Adrenna leaves for camp. She is going to Camp Palomar for a week. I thought I would not cry but I did. She had to console me. How funny? We have been very busy the last few weeks. Football, children's church, ACTION. Now football is over for 4 months and we can really move into the holidays. We are going to be doing a play called "the Christmas Believers".

This time of year is always very hard for me. Both of my parents passed away during the holidays. It has been almost 20 years since my dad died and 13 since my mom. I struggle alot. Please pray for me for strength. I hope to surround myself with lots of family(hint hint Elmore's) and friends this holiday season. Well I have to go to work now......................I will update tomorrow, I promise................

Well this weekend was not to busy. The boys played football. one win and one loss. Keanu ran a 55yd touchdown, 3 sacks, 20 tackles and over 100yds rushing. I am so very proud of him and Dj. Bailey got her hair braided this weekend to. We had Marcuan over for the weekend. He is my co-workers son. I know he enjoyed himself, I did not see him all weekend. I spoke to William a few times. He has made it to San Francisco. I miss him alot.........Anyway, looking forward to him coming home and my "little brother" Rod is giving his first sermon this weekend to. Well catch you up later.........

Day 5 and 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boys had split day on football. Dj played a team named Baja Delfinas from Mexico. Well needless to say this team had not been scored on all season. They had shut out every team they had played by like 50 points or more to zero. Well one of theb oys decided to go and tell the team this great fact. Well the boys mentally had already lost the game. The first half they scored 43 points. Half time came and our boys came out swinging. The Delfinas did not score anymore points the second half and yes we did get 1 touchdown. The only team they did not shut out. The Coastal Tritons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so proud of the team. Keanu played Steele Canyon. His team won the game 28-12. Keanu had a sack and a touchdown and a total of 18 tackles in the game. Well we came home and the little girls took a nap. Long naps!!!!!!!!! A couple of them did not wake up until this morning.........Off to church this morning. It was actualy very good. The message was insightful and very encouraging........The kids and I went to Red Lobster today for dinner, we laughed and ate and had a good time. When we got home we cleaned up. Yes I am a Clean Freak. I can't seem to relax in chaos.......................I am now just doing some laundry and reading in between. the kids are doing any last minute reading logs and research for reports. William is doing fine. I just spoke with him. Well gotta go...................

Day 4!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAD THE DAY OFF............YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TOOK THE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND CAME HOME AND AS USUAL CLEANED UP AROUND THE HOUSE. RAN SOME ERRANDS. ALL SEEMED WELL RIGHT? GOT THE BOYS TO PRACTICE EARLY AND STARTED TO READ MY NEW BOOK "TAKING CARE OF THE ME IN MOMMY" BY LISA WELCHEL. GREAT BOOK BY THE WAY. ANYHOW I DID NOT HAVE THE CAR ONOR THE RADIO, JUST QUIET, THE GIRLS WERE IN FRONT OF THE CAR ON THE GRASS DOING FLIPS AND STUFF. THEN THEY GOT INTHE CAR AND BEGAN TO DO SOMETHING AND FELL ASLEEP. WHEN I WOKE UP IT HAD STARTED TO GET FOGGY, WE DO PRACTICE IN OCEAN BEACH YA KNOW, AND I GOT READY TO CRANK THE CAR AND TURN THE HEATER ON, NO CRANK, NO START.....AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ME? WHY TONIGHT? WELL LUCKILY MY WELL PREPARED HUSBAND HAD FUSSED AT ME SO ABOUT KEEPING THE CABLES IN THE CAR, THEY WERE THERE, SO ONE OF THE COACHES HELPED ME OUT. I WAS VERY GRATEFUL FOR THAT. OFF TO HOME, I FOUND A NEW ROUTE, SHORTER AND SAFER. I WAS IN A BIG HURRY TO GET HOME BECAUSE ANOTHER WEEKEND WITH OUR 3YO GOD DAUGHTER. HER MOM HAS TO WORK AT HER INTERNSHIP THIS WEEKEND. GOT HOME AND STARTED TRYING TO MAKE THE HOUSE FEEL LIKE HOME IN THE FALL. GOT SOME GREAT CLEARANCE AT TARGET. YES S'TE I DID IT, I GOT ANOTHER BATHROOM SET BUT I ONLY PAID 12 BUCKS FOR ALL OF IT. IT WAS IN THE CLEARANCE AISLE...............I ALSO WENT TO BIG LOTS, S'TE'S SPOT AND CLEANED UP ON HOLIDAY STUFF TO. MY NEXT PROJECT TOMORROW IS HANGING CURTAINS. I GOT A GREAT DEAL ON SOME RODS 3 BUCKS, CLEARANCE AISLE..........MY FRONT AREA LOOKS REALLY NICE AND ITS ALL STARTING TO FEEL LIKE HOME...............................ANYWAY I GOTTA GO GOT FOOTBALL IN THE MORNING

William's San Francisco trip DAY 3!!!!!

It's Friday! I made, but not wothout some struggle. Last night me and the kids had a rough night. Dj forgot his football equipment and therfore could not practice. I had a womens bible study that I really needed to go to. Traffic was horrible. Mackenzie left her backpack at the church. I hope it's still there. I got home and well anyway, not a great day!!!!!! Today I am off which is really nice. I need to go to eh bank and take care of some things. BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the other hand the bible study was great. I do feel better this morning. Sometimes life looks so hard and then my 8 yo comes and gives me a big hug and says " mommy I Love you!" . I told you I would update on Children's Church. Here it is. My first staff training is Oct 14, 2006 in the evening. So far I have 6 people who are interested in teaching and are willing to commit to 6 months. We have a lot of work to do with the church facilities to get all the ages up and running. Painting, safeguarding, childproofing. I know that will be ok though. I feel like MR. Clean, It's a tough job but It will get done. Gotta go now and take a shower so I can get my errands done...........

Duty day!!!!!!!!!

Well Will has duty today! Boring! I was able to get off work early and go and get the kids. That was very nice. I do not get to do that very often. I went to drop the litle girls off at ACTION at 4pm and home I went, just me and the boys............Let the dogs out, got a cold drink and took a deep breath. Before I knew it, it was time to go because I had been invited to a woman's fellowship at 600pm. I had a wonderful time at the fellowship. Our lesson was so for me and I needed the fellowship. S'te's mom and husband are here to keep her company when Rod leaves this time for a few days and I have the kids. I don't get much company especially from church because I live so much further out from my church family. My best friend and sister S'te is about all the company I get for the most part. Which is fine because she makes my day and we talk about so many different things and yes we have the same, CHILDREN"S CHURCH BATTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boy's stayed home and I picked up the little girls and they went with me. When I got home the boys had done all there laundry. ALL, not some ALL. Thank you Lord, you heard my prayer............... I am always praying that GOD will allow my children to finally get everything I try to teach them and low and behold it soaked in...............Thank GOD!

Football Heroes!!!!!!!!!!

WE WON! YAHHHHHHHHHHH! Keanu and Dj both won there games this weekend. Dj 32-20 and Keanu 36-0. There were so excited. As usual we spend all day at the field but it is well worth it. Keanu went to the Pasta Dinner fundraiser for the team and the rest of us came home. I got rid of one kid and inherited another, my God daughter. Her mom had called while we were at the field and asked could she come over because she had some studying to do. It was fine with me so we had a 3 year old for the weekend. When we got home I began to clean up and do laundry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dj came and asked me if Keanu was coming home and I told him I wasn't sure at that point and he asked well why not? Dj seems to think that Keanu should not go and leave him at home. I tried to explain to him that he leaves Keanu all the time when he goes to skateworld and spends the night out. He did not like my reasoning and then all of a sudden I get a call from Keanu asking to stay over his friends house and I told him it was fine. Dj was not very happy. Now he knows how it feels to get left behind. Tough lesson but well worth it........... On to better things. I had a showdown at the middle school last week because they had moved Dj for the 3rd time in math and I was getting a little frustrated. Apparently the schools do not get state test scores until September and therefore math schedules are tentative. Once I can handle, twice maybe but 3 times come on!!!!!!! Dj had made it to Algebra I as an 8th grader. Great place to be especially because he totally liked the teacher. She is sports buff and uses alot of sports analogies. He actually took notes and did his homeowrk without a grumble. Thats GREAT for him!!!!!!!!!!!! So when he told me they moved him out of the class I was livid, plus I did not even get a note or call or anything. I went to the school and well to make along story short he is back in Algebra I.......I know I said I would update you on Children's Church but I have another meeting on Wednesday with the church as a whole, we'll see if we can grow this ministry to what God would have it to be............

Tuesday, September 19, 2006

I know I know I know!!!! I haven't updated in a while. SO let's see whats happened around our house the last couple of weeks. School has started and everyone is well on their way to wanting a vacation already. hahahahahaha!!!! When the school year started DJ had middle school Algebra and we thought that was great especially since math is a struggle for him. Not to our knowing the school re-evaluated all the kids in this level of math and he was put up to Algebra I which is a high school class and he can get high school credit for it if he completes it with a "C" or better. He was pretty excited about it. This year he likes his math teacher, he says " she understands us mom". She was a basketball coach for girls at a college in Texas and then moved on to teaching after that. She uses alot of sports analogies for the kids and well we are a sports family. Keanu has decided to go back to band which he stopped in 6th grade for whatever crazy reason. He decided to play the Tuba, Tuba, Why Tuba? WE OWN A TRUMPET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oH WELL, IF HE'S HAPPY i'M HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!! As for the little girls they are doing well as usual , not to many complaints from them. Action team started again and by GOD Mackenzie decided to participate. Can you believe it she doesn't like anything but gymnastics. I am so proud of her though, this was a big leap for her. Adrenna, well you know under pounds of homework and fairing well. No anxiety hives yet so we are all pretty happy for her!!!!!!!!! As for William and I we are well, trying to fight the debt demon, mostly from our previous marriages but we are trying to make progress. We have started a debt snowball and hope to be debt free except for my car which was rather expensive, by next summer 2007. He ia trying to submit his master at arms package and he is just waitng on a couple of things he needs to complete it and it will be sent out. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!! I have a meeting to day with my Pastor about our children's ministry at church, I hope and pray that all goes well so we can finally get things painted and fixed up for the kids. I gotta for now but I will update tonight on my meeting. Oh yah I have pictures to post on flickr but I need to go pick up the CD from wal mart.....OH YAH DI YOU KNOW WAL MART WILL BE DISCONTINUING LAYAWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!

Labor day weekend! Not just BBQ but also the beginning of a new year for most families. School, homeowrk, new friends, open house and lots of fall activities to enjoy. We spent the weekend at a birthday party and a house warming. Friday night, I dropped the boys off at football and ran to the mall to catch some last minute sales. Shirts 9.99 and jeans 24.99, my boys wear grown up sizes now so I found the 50% sale very appealing. I stuck to my guns and everyone got 3 outfits for school and shoes, backpack and supplies. All totaling 325.00 for 5 kids not bad...............

Saturday we went and supported one of my husbands co-workers son's football game and then to my co-workers son's birthday party and then to a housewarming BBQ. Busy, Busy, Busy.......

Monday we just settled in for a new school year.

First day of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone got up withthe chickens and got dressed and ready to go so when I got up at 515am to get everyone up, to my surprise they were up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who are these kids and where are mine?

Everyone had a good day. I had all the homework though, you know all those parent packets to sign........ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far so good........Things are settling down and the kis aren't up at 4 am anymore. Looks like it's going to be a good year...........I thank GOD everyday for my kids. I have been blessed to have pretty good kids....So pray with and for us this year.......

Scrimmage #2

Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My day at work was much the same as yesterday but I do not have to go tomorrow so yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, the scrimmage, the scrimmage, the scrimmage. We played the patriots from alvarado and our team played great, basic football. The other team however was cheating. They were clipping and hitting way after the whistle. Keanu got hit in the back and then a late hit on the sideline about 15 ft from the play of the ball......because this is a scrimmage there are no refs do the coaches blow the whistle. Then I got told to F*&*^^% off by a 13 year old kid, I almost snatched someone else's kid. Then one of thier coaches was smirking and making horrible comments. It was a disgrace to the league. Our team played clean football even though we almost had a fight between coaches and players. They kept there heads inthe game and stayed on pace.....I was very proud of all the boys for not sinking tothat level and I commend our coaches for teaching them good football and not DIRTY FOOTBALL. Well gotta go...........

Tough Day at the Office!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today was supposed to be my day off however my provider had to open her schedule to see patients half day because the office was getting overwhelmed. So I went in this morning even though she did not start until 130 because I will not be at work Thursday due to my daughter's middle school orientation. I had to room other providers patients and do walk in labs, it sucked. I am not a floater and today that seemed to be the case. EWWWWWWWWWW! Hated it. When Diane got there it was better because I had my provider, mine, my very own!!!!!!!!!!!!! The walk-in labs continued and they got more and more complicated. With William being gone I have to leave work at 430 so I try to make sure my schedule stays a tad bit under control and half-days are for sick visits only, Right? NOPE nOT AT MY JOB! Someone decided to put an ear cleaning at 415pm, 415, HELLO I LEAVE AT 430...........So I called the patient and quickly asked if she could come in right then and she said yes. So wew!!! Got out at 436. When I got home I had to change cell phones, my new one finally came. I hesitated buying a new but my other one fell in a glass of water thanks to my daughter and I hoped it would dry out, well it did but it would turn on and off and sometimes would not come on at all........and with will being gone I need my phone especially since I drive a great distance to football everyday.

As I am leaving the water guy comes by.......I had been meaning to call and get water service because I spend alot of money buying bottled water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well his package was a really good deal so that took me another 15 minutes. Then off to practice......Came home after practice and actually looked at the house, the kids had barely done anything I had asked and I was heated. Luckily I have been praying for patience and boy did GOD step in......I politely asked everyone to go back and do the things they were supposed to and I completed dinner which Keanu had started earlier today. I was so frustrated but I handled it well.....I cannot wait for school to start!!!!!!!!!!! my house will actually clean.....I know I am a weirdo but I rest so much better knowing everything is in order and we can spend so much more time together when everything is done. I fell so chaotic when everything is everywhere. I do not expect perfection but I do like for the house to be clean and comfortable for my family......

I am a purging fool though.....3 bags S'te 3, I am so good........ :). Well anyhow it's geting late and I have work and a scrimmage to go to so tata for now.......

Back to Sea!

He's gone again. I hate this part. I can handle the long deployment but the whole in and out thing is for the birds. As usual we survive. Another boring football day except that Keanu was hit pretty hard in the thigh and was down for a minute but he's ok. We will just wait and see what the bruise looks like............... :( My nephew had surgery today. All is well so far. When I called my older nephew said that he was sleeping. Well I will cut it short today.......Goodnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty relaxed weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Well this wekend was pretty realxed. William came home Friday and we were so happy then he tells us he has to go back out to sea Monday for the week. We went to football practice and came home. Then on saturday we cleaned up and then my friend Barbi came over and helped me unpack some boxes. After that we went to a Luau and had a really good time and came home. Rod and S'te stopped by for a few minutes while they were waiting for Ladaria to finish babysitting. We stayed home on Sunday from church (I know bad huh!!!!!) but we just wanted to be together this weekend.

We are back to a work week and just me again. My work schedule has changed again. I now have to work on Tuesday from 1230 to 430 because the office was getting pretty busy and they needed my nurse practitioner to come in half day. So my Tuesdays off are only half days off now.

My nephew Makkiah is having surgery today so I am waiting on the call for that when it's over.....I guess thats enough babbling for today..........Chat tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a "working" (outside the house, because all moms have jobs) kind of mom of a large family, I often wonder am I the only one that looses it. Then I look at my children and see how well rounded they are and say to myself, not a bad job. I see other families and I am blessed with the family I have.

We struggle like everyone else from finances to schedules. I was praying and asking GOD to make a way that our schedules would not conflict between the boys and the girls. He answered my prayer. The boys will drop to 3 days a week on Sept 5 and practice on tuesday, hursday and friday. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adrenna and Bailey are a part of a sign/mime ministry called ACTION and there practice are going to be on Mondays from 4-7. It's all working out for the best.

School will be starting soon and my worry has alsways been school clothes. I went out like I normally do and put the girls clothes on layaway at Walmart and underwear and socks for the boys, totaling 900.00. Well GOD has given me peace this year. I am going to cancel my layaway, get my 100.00 back and purchase the unders and socks for everyone and then go to the outlet stores at LAS AMERICAS and get everyone 2 outfits to start and thats it. My kids have more than enough clothes to get the year started. Two of my daughters need sneakers so I will get them those and thats it. I am not going to drive myself nuts over school clothes. We also need backpacks and very minimal school supplies. I am so at peace this year, kinda scary. Thanks S'te.....She knows what I mean.....Well gotta go for now................

Jr Midget Scrimmage against Eastlake

WOW!!!!! The K TRAIN WAS RUNNING OVER AND TAKING NAMES TODAY. I know total football mom right? However Keanu really had a great game today. He played Ironman football today. That means he played both sides of the ball. Although they did not win the game, really showed leadership and determination for his team. I am so proud of him. In the end he walked off the field with his head up saying " We had good go at it today mom", sore shoulder, sliced arm and scratched ankle. Not to bad for a nights work. Next week we scrimmage against Alvarado on Tuesday. Dj had a scrimmage on last week. They played great and actually won. This season should play out very nicely........GO COASTAL TRITONS 2006. K-TRAIN COMING CHOO CHOO CHOO.

Well I decided to take tonight off from unpacking and washing clothes and spend it with the kids. I came home and made baked ziti and we sat down and ate dinner together. I think a movie is next and then bed. Everyone deserves the night off and the kids and I have worked pretty hard this week. So lots of hanging out this evening. William will be home on Friday. Yah!!!!!!!!!! Well gotta go.........

Puppy Update: DEEDEE and KATY were adopted and PUPUP is still waiting. Keep working GOD and find him a new home.............

They're Gone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight is a sad night at our house. The puppies are gone. We took them to the central shelter and we all cried like their was no tomorrow. When I got home I saw that S'te had posted a comment and said she would take them until they found a home but by then it was to late. I am so sad. That was like loosing a child. They are up for adoption and on the website. I know that GOD will make sure they get a great home with great owners and great kids. I only worked a few hours today which allowed me some time to come home and get some unpacking done before football practice. We have scrimmage against Eastlake tomorrow. I think all will be well. I feel pretty accomplished today. You know with a large family things can get pretty crazy and I now know why I had not been able to sleep and having tons of anxiety over the last year. It's chaos, I can't take it, but eversince I had went in the hospital last September I just felt off. That continued and things spiraled out of control. Well I think this move caused me to refocus. A fresh start to get back to the "Real ME". Right S'te? haha she knows me very well. S'te says I have to many shoes and clothes and that I need to get rid of some, is she right? Well sort of!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have made it a goal to get rid of everything that I really do not wear or have not worn in the last 12 months. Wow I said it, I wrote it, that felt good. This is my family and I can't let them down. I have come to realize other people can function in certain ways even in chaos, but I have to be me. I have tried to just let things go and say that life is to short to worry about it but for me I worry when things are not done. I know that I will have more peace in my spirit and in my life if things are the way they should be. Anyway gotta go laundry to do

Moving is OVER but Murphy's Law visited!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the move is over. Rod and S'te I love you guys so much. Thank you for all your help!!!!!!!!!! Anyway here we go. So we moved right? Yah we did and we thought things were going to be ok with the new neighbors. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dog jumps pretty high and my neighbor was "a little grumpy" and said that he was sort of scared about my dog jumping so high. SO we decided to crate her when we were not outside. She can't clear the fence but we wanted no problems. To add insult to injury she had puppies in may and we had 13. All of them except 3 have been adopted. Well in military housing you are allowed 2 pets. I KNOW THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were not going to have 5 full grown dogs. SO when I came today I had a violation notice on my door. Mind you my husband is out to sea for a week. GREAT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO then I went to the animal shelter to do what I did not want to do but the rescue has a waiting list. They were closed so I have to go back in the morning. OH YAH, to back track a little, this morning I was getting ready to leave to go to the housing office to turn in my key from my other house and then go to work right? Well I go looking for my keys and they were not where they usually are so I decided to go out to the car and there they were in the LOCKED CAR! I called the ship hoping to catch William and hope he could come home really quick before they got underway this morning. Well wrong answer. I ended up calling the roadside assistance for our housing area and they said about 30-45 minutes. I said ok not so bad. Well finally at 10 am they came and off I went, rushing to housing and low and behold they did not even realize that I had a final inspection today. So I just left the keys and told them to send the bill of any to me. WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I scream now? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, we home now and here for a while. School will start and things will get back to normal............I hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My GOD IS STILL GOOD AND WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost moving day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's almost moving day!!!!!!!!! We have 2 days until we pick up keys to our NEW NAVY HOUSING!!! I am so not ready. Most things are going to be easy but it just seems overwheling. I think I am being a wimp but moving sucks.....to top it off I can't pick up the truck until Saturday at 11:15.... WHY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then to make things worse William is going out to sea on Monday. So me and the kids will have to put the house together. FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow, things will work out. Now to the fall. I so look forward to this time of year, a new start, new schedules and chore lists and most of all new experiences for my children. Adrenna and Keanu will have the newest adventures as they both go off to middle school this year and for once in their little lives they will be apart. Although DJ and Keanu will be at the same school they will live seperate lives......7TH grade and 8th grade.......You know the big fish little fish thing......Adrenna is going to a totally different school...her friends are going there too but it's middle school. Mackenzie and Bailey will be going to the same school as last year. Well enough of me today........I will ramble again in a day or 2......

This week has been so AWESOME!!!!!! I have not updated because I have been getting home so late this week. We are in the middle of revival at church and it has been a blessing.......William was supposed to be out to sea for 2 days but for whatever reason the ship did not go, so I get to keep him home a little longer. I was actually having some anxiety about him being gone.....I was telling myself " you have done this before why are you trippin' " but I guess no matter how you cut it, it's still hard to be alone.

Anyhow, I was supposed to have a pre inspection on Tuesday at 930 and no one ever showed up. That is my only day off and they didn't come.....So I called Housing and they said OH NO ONE EVER CAME!!!!!!!!!!! You would think that they knew that right? Wrong so we will try again next tuesday........

Chat later with some more interesting stuff......Gotta work now.....

Homecoming weekend with Rod and S'te

It's August!!!!!! This year is going by so fast. We are in the process of packing and moving into the house I told you about breifly in my last post. Well ......... The house itself is really nice but the people who lived there before .......... put it this way a creature tap me on the shoulder when I went in to look. The reason we are moving into another Navy housing unit is because I have Hemiplegic migraines which mimic Strokes and cause left sided weakness and we currently live in a 2 story unit and the doctor felt a 1 story would be better since my husband is back to sea duty....... We pick up the keys on Aug 18, I will put pics on the flickr when we get in.

Well Rod (s'te) is home and everyone is so happy!!!!!!!!!!!! S'te spent a few hours teaching me how to make this site look pretty, so look out for some changes!!!!!!!!! We spent Sunday evening woth them as well, BBQ'd and me and S'te were on the computer again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will and Rod plyed video games. Most people think its crazy that the first evening he was home that the whole family spent time together but they had all night,if you know what I mean. Check out there blog for homecoming pics. Well gotta work now.....Chat Later.......

Well all that is nice but..................Monday night my son went to take shower at around 11pm and the water was cold. The hot water heater went out. Well I decided to be nice to the maintenance in Navy housing and not call that late..hahaha! So I am off on tuesdays and I decided to call in the morning around 9am. Well I went to go and see our new house that we are moving into(thats the next blurt and blabble), anyway. I did not leave until 1pm and still no maintenance guy.....I came back home at 230 still no hot water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we went to football at 430 and still no tech. We went to Denny's after football and stayed until 9pm and got home and still no hot water......Hmmmmm! I called housing again and they said someone came at noon but I was home I would have remembered....they said he re lit the pilot light...I don't think so. So finally at 1015 pm a maintenence guy came and stayed until 11pm and finally hot water. Great no more stinky kids.........Well I must go for now but I will tell you later about our move and the condition of the house we are moving into before the other family moved out..........bye!!!!!!!!

Two Days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHH!!!!!

Hey Everyone!! Well 2 days until my DH checks on board his military ship. We have over a year with him home and before that he had not been on board a ship for a while due to some health problems. Well it's here!!!!! I am totally freaking out. I used to think I was so invinsible. Now I feel like a big WIMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to be left at home with the kids, football, dogs and working all the same. ............... I know I can do it but I have really softened up while he has been home. I feel so stagnant right now. My kids on the other hand are having a great summer. Football has started and boy is it tiring for them and me. My 5 children consist of 2 boys age 14 and 12 and 3 girls 10,9 and 8. All so different. Well I must go and do another load of laundry before getting everything tidied up................
